Privacy Policy
This policy covers The Morning Havoc newsletter and the Havoc website.
What we hold
When you sign up to The Morning Havoc we store your email address, the borough you optionally select, the date and time you signed up, a record of your consent, and the referral source of the page you signed up from. That is all — we do not ask for or keep your name, address or payment details.
Why we hold it
Your email address is used solely to send you The Morning Havoc. Your borough is used only to make the local stories in the newsletter more relevant to where you live. The timestamp and consent record exist so we can show you asked to receive the newsletter.
No sharing, no selling
We do not sell, rent or share your details with third parties, and we do not use them for advertising to you. Your data is only handled by the hosting and email delivery providers we need to run the newsletter, and only on our instructions.
Unsubscribing
Every edition of The Morning Havoc contains an unsubscribe link in the footer. One click stops the emails. On request we will delete your record entirely — email privacy@havoc.report.
Cookies and measurement
With your consent we load the Meta Pixel to measure how many people sign up to the newsletter. It is not loaded at all until you press Accept in the cookie banner, and declining does not affect your signup. You can change your mind by clearing this site's data in your browser.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, at any time, using the address above.
