Morrisons creates new Chief AI Officer role

Supermarket chain Morrisons has named Dr Mohsen Ghasempour as its chief AI officer, from 1 October 2026. In the recently created role, Ghasempour will be responsible for setting up a central data science and AI function for the retailer.
