Fears for Greenwich Peninsula’s wildlife lake as water levels drop

A quarter of a century ago, homebuyers looking for a flat on the Greenwich Peninsula saw the ecology park’s freshwater lake and realised this was the place for them. The area was still largely undeveloped, and the new residents would have a host of empty car parks as neighbours.
